STORAGE TIPS

We have a FREE Moving Trailer for your use, when you rent a space at Gordon’s.

Plan your storage before you start. Put items you need to get to often towards the front. Leave a center aisle for easy access.

You will find the boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and locks at Gordon’s Mini-Storage.

Stack everything two inches from the walls to allow for air circulation. Stack moisture sensitive items on 2" x 4" boards or on a plastic sheets.

DO NOT store food, animal feed, or other perishables.

Mark the outside of each box with its contents. Stack the boxes with the label where you can read it. Color code items. For example......Kitchen is a yellow marker and the bathroom could be a blue marker, etc.

Disassemble tables and beds to save on space.

CAUTION: Remember it is illegal to store Hazardous or Combustible materials such as gasoline, paint, or solvents. Drain gasoline from tanks before storing.
